Introduction
The Office of Health Economics was established in February 2016 with the aim of achieving the objectives of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education and those of the University to promote the effectiveness and econometrics of processes.

Major Tasks and Activities
  • Improving the knowledge and skills of finance managers and staff in such areas as relative value, and franchise reduction
  • Establishing coordination for proper implementation of the Health System Reform Plan (reducing franchises)
  • Compiling statistical and information tables and submitting them to the Ministry of Health and Medical Education and other relevant organizations
  • Holding Medical Equipment Committee meetings at the Office of Health Economics
  • Analyzing bill calculation mechanisms randomly, and conducting continuous visits in this regard
  • Collaborating in the preparation of required software
  • Monitoring the completion of relevant systems in educational centers and hospitals
  • Supervising the performance of health economics committees across affiliated centers, and holding relevant academic committeesHolding seasonal committee meetings to coordinate insurance affairs
